The proposed Alexandra Place Hotel & Apartments Development consists of the construction of a 106-bedroom hotel ranging in height from 6 to 8 storeys over basement. The hotel will comprise of three main blocks that are connected at ground floor level. The hotel will accommodate reception/foyer, restaurant/café/bar, outdoor terrace, kitchen, toilets, meeting rooms, ancillary offices, plant and substation at ground floor level. The basement level will include staff facilities, bicycle storage, refuse store, laundry, storage and plant. There shall be plant located at roof level, along with landscaped areas. The second (residential)part of the development involves addition of 1-2 floors to the existing apartment which will create 74 additional residential units. GDCL responsible for design of all civil and structural elements of development as part of a multi-disciplinary design team.
