The project was part of the construction of an orbital route for the city of Limerick designed to alleviate traffic congestion in the city and particularly in the port and docks area of Limerick city.

Temporary Structural Works Design - Casting Basin

Engaged by the Main Contractor to carry out specialist temporary works for the construction of a casting basin for the tunnel segments and approach bridge elements. The ground conditions were very difficult requiring temporary support for all excavations and caisson construction for bridge abutments.
